Paintball Game Variations

When you have an EXCLUSIVE Paintball Event at Swings-N-Things you can have even more fun when you change up the games a little!  Of course, there's always "Elimination" where the team with the "last man standing" wins, but you may want to try a few of these paintball game variations.

Let us know which games you're interested in when booking your event or let your Paintball Village referee know and they can set it up for you.

How ever you play - you're going to have a blast!

Capture The Flag
Divide up into 2 teams and have each team report to opposite ends of the field.  A flag is placed in the middle of the field.  Once the game begins both teams attempt to take control of the flag.  If a player who has control of the flag is hit with a paintball they must immediately DROP THE FLAG where they stand.  At that point anyone is free to pick up the flag.  The game ends when one team delivers the flag to their opponents base or all of the opposing players are eliminated.
Strategy:  Do you play aggressive to take control of the flag or do you take a defensive position to prevent the opposing team from getting the flag into your base?

Base Capture
A simple variation of Capture The Flag that encourages quick games and mad dashes but requires significant amounts of strategy to successfully complete.  Divide up into 2 teams and report to opposite ends of the field.  Each team will have THEIR OWN FLAG that must be placed IN CLEAR SIGHT of the other team (it cannot be hidden).  A team wins by eliminating all of the other players or by taking control of the opposing team's flag.
Strategy: Since their is no need to return the flag to your own base, Base Capture sometimes requires you to gather courage and charge like mad for the flag.  The secret to victory is not to carefully plan a prolonged assault on a base but to simply plan a quick attack that will allow one player to get close enough to touch the flag.

VIP
Divide up into 2 teams and have each team select someone to be the VIP.  Make sure the opposing team knows who is your VIP.  After selections have been made, report to opposite ends of the field.
Strategy:  Rather than focusing on elimination the other team, would it be easier to narrow your focus onto one opposing player?  VIP places you with the responsibility of protecting your VIP while also attempting to eliminate your opponent's.
